The increase in fuel prices is continuing to create great difficulties in the transport sector. The expensive fuel costs affects all the companies in the freight transport sector, which are facing unsustainable cost increases. And as a consequence, many transport companies will be forced to stop their vehicles.

The regional association of mobility sector “Confartigianato Trasporti FVG” rise alarm over the current difficult situation resulting from the increase in fuel prices: in June +15% one liter of fuel; +250% the cost of liquefied gas, and the AdBlue additive reaches 300% (the most of diesel vehicles can’t operating without this liquid).

Stefano Adami, the group leader of “Confartigianato Trasporti FVG”, call on the Governement to intervene in favor of the freight transport sector and to prevent companies from stopping their vehicles, considering the importance of goods handling by road and the consequences on the supply of materials, products, and primary goods. In particular, the association is asking to implement a cap on the fuel price and to stop speculation, as well as to offer adequate support to the companies, which are facing the incessant increase in fuel prices with intolerable costs.
