The history of our family
About us
For over a century now, Gianesini has been connecting the world with transport and shipping services that have always aimed for excellence. We were born in 1924 as a small family business, becoming one of the major Italian companies in the industry.
Today, still under the lead of the Gianesini family, we have reached the fourth generation, managing more than 40.000 transports a year and offering a wide range of road, sea, and air transport services, across various commercial sectors and continents.
100 years of excellence
Our story began in 1924, when Erminio Gianesini embarked on a path that has spanned generations and continues today.
At the origin, we transported people, letters, and goods in Idria (part of Italy, at the time), serving the surrounding areas. Over time, the company specialized in goods transportation and developed into the freight sector, continuing to grow.
We moved to Gorizia in 1940, the company expanded the business and began to operate worldwide. Today, a century later, transparency, reliability, and focus on customers remain our core values.
